NARRATOR

This episode presents the full, unabridged Prologue: Why I Wrote This Book, read verbatim, without edits or abridgment.

Author-Narrator

[soft][warm][slow] Prologue: Why I Wrote This Book

Author-Narrator

[calm][slow] This book came to me during a moment of stillness I didn’t ask for—but desperately needed.

Author-Narrator

[gentle][reflective][slow] I had just returned from a meaningful trip to London with my teenage son, where we explored the city together, laughed a lot, and made memories I’ll cherish forever. But during that same trip, something unexpected happened: my phone was stolen. What devastated me wasn’t the device—it was everything it carried. Years and years of photos, messages, and memories. I didn’t know if any of it had been saved to the cloud. The loss hit me deeply, not because of technology, but because of everything that was woven into it—my children’s faces, milestones, moments I thought I had protected.

Author-Narrator

[serious][slow] To make things worse, I’d done so much walking that my right foot became so painful I could barely move when I got home. A friend suggested it could be a hairline fracture, and sure enough, I ended up in a boot, unable to drive or function normally. I was in bed, physically slowed down, spiritually questioning, and emotionally exhausted. I remember laying there thinking, What else could possibly go wrong?

Author-Narrator

[soft][slow][intimate] Crazily, something unexpected happened to me in that silence. I felt a presence, a prompting. A sacred whisper that told me,

Sacred Whisper

[whisper][slow] Write.

Author-Narrator

[soft][warm][pause 500ms] Thankfully, I listened.

Author-Narrator

[calm][flowing] Over the next four days, in what I can only describe as a divinely guided state of flow, I wrote the majority of this book. The words didn’t feel like mine alone—they felt given, channeled, or offered as a healing to others, but also to myself.

Author-Narrator

[serious][steady][slow] I didn’t write “Divine Alignment" because I wanted to publish a book. I wrote it because I was asked to. And when the universe asks something of me, I do it—especially when it is in service to others, never in harm. This book is a testimony of what happens when we say yes to that divine voice, even when we’re hurting, unsure, or immobile.
